As a whole Phoenix meets twice a week in winter and three times the rest of the year.

 

Tuesdays -- 8:30am behind the Port Moody Library or 6:30pm at the track (Centennial Stadium, Poirier St. during the spring, summer & fall; Town Centre Stadium during the winter).

Thursdays -- 8:30am at the Chilko entrance to Mundy Park or 6:30pm at the track (as above).

 

Saturday -- 8:30am at Mundy Park (Hillcrest St entrance) (Except for chase race*) Map

(Our Chase race is held once a month, on average, start time: 9:30am)

Upcoming Interval workouts...

* This Tuesday (July 1st) the track session will be: 3 x 600, 3 x 400 & 3 x 200 -- with short rest between reps & a lap's jog between sets. 

**This Thursday (July 3rd) the track session will be: 4 x 400 -- at high speed with short rest.

***This Saturday (July 5th) it's the Austin Trail + Lost Lake 1k loop; 4-6 with downhill jog recovery.

Coach's Note: When the weather is favourable the workout will be modified so that the second repetition will be an all out effort. I.e. workout 5 x 800m exercises, drills, run a moderate 800m, rest 5 mins, 2nd 800m all out, running drills then 3 x 800m moderate pace. In poor weather conditions workouts will feature short rest periods and moderate pace runs.
