About the Phoenix Running Club
We are a Coquitlam-based road, track and trail club. We meet two to four times a week for training sessions and cater to all age groups from enthusiastic juniors to more senior runners - some fast and some rather more cautious.
Come out and join us for trail running at Mundy Park (starting from the west gravel parking lot off Hillcrest St.) on a Saturday morning at 8:30 a.m. and/or Monday, Wednesday or Thursday mornings. You are welcome to try a couple of workouts with no obligation to join the club. Please see the workouts page for times and planned activities. Track practices are not regular during the winter but may resume on Tuesday/Thursday evenings in April. Please contact Warren McCulloch for more information about track practices.
The map below shows the location of our meeting place in Mundy Park. The small inset photo can't do justice to the beauty of the park! You'll have to come and see the 12 kilometres of groomed trails for yourself. The map also shows the location of one of our training tracks.

Membership Forms
If you haven't yet renewed your membership (or are a new member wishing to join), you can print and fill out the forms below. Please note that you need to return the forms with payment to Heather Taylor. Heather is virtually always available at the Saturday morning workouts.

The February calendar has been posted on the workouts page, including Saturday workouts and upcoming races.
Please read Maureen's story about her race at the Sacramento Marathon on the Results page!
Thanks to all Phoenix members who attended the AGM on Saturday, January 21. It was a successful meeting with many critical issues discussed and resolved. The most important news is that we will be using Chip Timing for our Mother's Day race this year.
Also, we are planning a Mt. Seymour snowshoeing excursion. It will likely take place on a Thursday night late in February. Please contact Kathryn O'Grady if you or a guest would be interested in taking part.
Results and video of the Jingle Bell 5K Chase are posted on the Race Results page. (I haven't found the 5K page yet.)
View more Christmas Party photos here. Thank you Cathy and Dave for hosting such a wonderful party.

Dave Frilund is the happy winner of the resurrected Phoenix Athlete of the Year award!

Read John Taylor's version of the Gunner Shaw races, aptly titled "Running for Pizza." See Race Results page; there may be a moral there!
